Kaveh Bassiri was the recipient of a Witter Bynner Poetry Translation Residency and Walton Translation Fellowship. His poetry won theBellingham Review’s 49th Parallel Award and was published in Best New Poets 2011, Virginia Quarterly Review, Beloit Poetry Journal, and Mississippi Review.
Sara Goudarzi holds an MA in journalism from New York University and has published more than 400 articles. Her nonfiction and poetry have appeared in National Geographic News, the Christian Science Monitor, CNN.com, The Adirondack Review, and Drunken Boat, among others. Sara is an avid performer of poetry and is currently working on a first novel.
Lisa Preston works at The New School and has published a children’s picture book entitled Me and Bear, Bear and Me. She is working on her first novel.
Anthony Rhoades is a New York City photographer. His work can be seen on www.rhoadesfoto.com.

Joshua Korenblat is a writer, artist, and educator. He has been published in an array of print and online magazines, including the Communication Arts Illustration Annual, National Geographic Magazine, and Smithsonian Magazine. He has a master’s degree in creative writing from Johns Hopkins University.
Fayre Makeig is a poet and translator whose work has appeared in the Western Humanities Review and Two Lines. In 2009 she won a Pen Translation Fund Grant for the selected free verse of contemporary Iranian poet Hushang Ebtehaj. Fayre holds a BA in English from Yale University and is working toward an MFA from Columbia University.
